1. General

Type DTS5558 Three -Phase Four-Wire Kwh Electronic Meter adopts the advanced special energy measuring chips and the multi-rate technology, using the date sampling and SMT technology. The product is designed and produced according to the practical situation of the dweller. All the elements inside the meter have the feature of long-life, high-reliance. The meter performance complies with the following standard:IEC 62056-21 (Particular requirements for multi-rate electricity meters)

IEC1107 or DL/T 645-1997 (Multi-function watt-hour meter communication protocol).

3.Use and installation

1. The meter can be installed and used after being test and sealed with letterpress printing. Without letterpress printing or storage time is too long, the meter must be retest.

2. When takeout meters from original carton and find out inner packing or meter cover damaged, do not install and use the meter, please contact company technical dept.

3. Experienced electrician or professional technician to install the meter and ensure read the manual.

4. The meter must be installed in a ventilate and arid place. The meter base board must be on the wall of fire resistance and uneasily shaking. The meter must be installed vertically and the gradient shall not exceed 1 °.The installation height is about 1.8m.

5. The meter must be installed in the protective box in dusty place or against possible mechanical injury.

6. Connecting must accord with below drawings or the drawing in the extended cover. To use brass conductor to input to avoid that the meter shall be burnt due to loose contact.

7. In the more thunderstorms place to adopt measures to avoid lightning injury.

8. The load capacity of the meter is between 0.04Ib~Imax

6. Transport and shortage

1. Transport and storage of the meter mustn't be shaken and must accord with stipulated ZBY002-81.

2. The meter must be stored in the original packing box and the environmental temperature is in -30 ~ +65, relative humidity shall not exceed 85%. And there isn't any corrosive gas. The ambient temperature shall not vary violently.

3. The meters should be in the original packing box and the boxes should be piled up no more than five cartons on the rack. The separate meters should be piled up no more than five pieces. The unpacked meter isn't suitable for storage.

 

7. Maintenance and service

Within 18 months from the date of manufacture the user complies with all of above rules, if the meter still being sealed doesn't conform to any technical requirements of IEC 62053-21:2003, or of any certification of Power Department or Measuring Department, the manufacture guarantees to repair freely or to change
